Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to juggle her career across Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was birthed in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
