Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actor and singer-songwriter hailing from St. Louis Missouri. She is most well-known for her character on the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music has been featured in films and television shows such as How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. Her dance training was at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. She began acting professionally aged three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's career was put on hold for three years, until she landed the leading role in Misconceptions. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. In addition, Momsen was a candidate to be the lead character on Hannah Montana. She was in the top 3 however, Miley got the role.
